Mad Spuds
Wednesday, August 28, 2013 | Posted by CalvinTCQ ♣ | 0 footsteps ♠

If there's one cafe you have to go in Surry Hills, it's Mad Spuds.
Simply because the concept of their restaurant stands out.
They specialise in serving potato based dishes!

Littly Piggy
Baked Potatoes w/ crispy bacon strips, mozzarella, brie, feta, and sour scream w/ a seven seed slaw ($15)

I opted for their little piggy because I felt like having some bacon that day :)
It was........................ Okay.
It's just bacon served on potatoes really.
But it is a potato dish that's turned up a notch.
It sure is commendable because they managed to glamorize something as simple as a potato.

Something else I would recommend to order?
It would be their Mad Spud Stack.
I've seen pictures of it and it looks awesome.
(I might go back just to try it)

Mad spuds is quite unique.
I don't think there's anywhere else in Sydney that does this.

If you're the type of person that just loves your potatoes,
Or maybe you're just keen on trying a potato-concept cafe,
Mad Spuds is the place to be!
