sugar hit & night noodles market
Sunday, October 23, 2011 | Posted by CalvinTCQ ♣ | 0 footsteps ♠

yikes!
late blogging
alot has happened since my last post
so i'll try to remember what happened!

first thing's first,
went to night noodles market on wednesday :)
w/ heidi, fiona & sum!
it was insanely crowded whoa
really really unexpected!

the most crowded lines was malaysian stores
i guess australians like malaysian cuisine
and they are actually pretty good! :D

heidi went on to buy char kway teow from this store
an already popular restaurant in sydney
Jackie M

i was thinking of getting another cuisine other than malaysian
but nothing really caught my eye
except this one!
one of the non-noodle stores

my first okonomiyaki! :D
it's a japanese pancake
pretty good IMO
i liked it alot

heidi's char kuay teow vs my okonomiyaki :)

i went on to have mee goreng
from arguably the best malaysian restaurant in sydney
Mamak
no pictures though sorry!

overall, it wasn't really a pleasant experience
because it was just too crowded!
it takes 20-30 minutes to line up for your food
but i reckon it's a MUST try-once event if you live in Sydney :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------

after, we went to
Azuma : Kushiyaki Bar & Grill
for another round of Sugar Hit!

east meets west :)

a detailed description of the sugar hit

(art filter added)

looks gorgeous doesn't it?
SO much better than my previous sugar hit
this has a much more variety of things to try ;)

still, the star of this sugar hit is the
Japanese Green Tea Tiramisu
loooooooooooooooooved it
though at the bottom has been soaked with shochu sake
it was a little bitter
i didn't like it :l

still a pretty good sugar hit though
very enjoyable :)
