we had dinner at a place called The Little Snail
it's kind of a 'higher class restaurant'
:)
was a little more empty than we expected though
w/ the usual birthday hong kong gang
every time one of us have a birthday there's always a nice dinner celebration :)
so we have like 10+ birthday celebrations each year!
very expensive. LOL
happy 20th birthday sandy!! :)

here's some entree's that we ordered
** the lighting was pretty dark
and so i added the cross process art filter to the picture
which enhanced the pictures significantly
which i like! :D
makes it look alot more yummy :P **
Escargot de Bourgogne
Dozen snails marinated in herb-infused court-bouillon,
oven baked in garlic butter
Paté Maison
Armagnac flavoured duck liver pate with marinated champignons, date chutney and port vinaigrette
my first duck foie gras (duck liver)
was definitely interesting
i don't like liver too much D:
so i didn't really like eating it by itself
but it actually tastes good when spreaded with bread! :)
King Prawns
Fried king prawns with lemon mayo, sweet chilli and petite mesclun

Prime Australian Beef Fillet
Served with pommes puree and red wine jus

pretty good!
haven't had a steak that was cooked to the 'correct temperature' for a long time
which is medium for me
the potato was nice!
it was like layered with a little cheese :)!
yum.

after dinner we headed to Volar for clubbing
was just decent.
i don't really like clubbing anymore
raves > R&B clubs anytime
though the DJ's have improved
they played more mash-up of house and R&B
and some popular songs from last year
which brought back great memories :)
anywho.
when the clock striked 12
everyone bought sandy a shot

i think she had like 6 shots in half an hour
omfg
which obviously lead to...........................

my god.
she was so drunk
she puked everywhere
& i swear she became unconscious -_-
security had to carry her all the way out :l
brought her all the way back home
she started laughing uncontrollably at one point.
LOL
definitely a very interesting birthday experience.
