friday has once again passed by! :)

we (w/sandy) bought this scoopon deal a few weeks ago

@ Thanon Khaosan

it's a known thai restaurant tucked in a street next to world square

it's a pretty small place

but it sure was packed.

i didn't really liked the place though

the set up was definitely unique

but was it way too dark

i could barely read the menu

i don't quite understand why people like to go there :/

a bottle of wine incuded!

but it was SO cheap.

sandy looked it up on her iphone

and she found that it was only 4$ LOL

never.drink.cheap.wine

NEVER

it's horrid

it tastes so diluted

and after you drink it (1 glass)

it makes you warm & high for like 30 minutes

and you'll feel like puking straight after

and i don't think it's because of the alcohol D:

prawn cakes!

this was pretty good :)

green curry

decent.

massaman curry

also decent.

overall it just okay.

nothing special

wouldn't go there again

mainly because of the atmosphere
it's just too freakin dark :/

Sydney's International Food Festival is this month! :D

& there's this popular dessert event going on called sugar hit

so after dinner, we headed to Sheraton to try our first sugar hit!

a rich dark chocolate truffle cake on a tangy raspberry coulis

paired with a glass of brown brothers orange & muscat flora dessert wine

sounds yuuuuuum no? :D

was abit shocked when it came out

kinda looks like a blob D:

the inside!

was expecting to be WOW-ed.

but it was just decent

it's not bad

but it's not fantastic either

not worth $20 imo

i'd pay like $10 -12$ for that

last year's presentation was so much nicer!!
