hello.

it's been a while

a really long time

but i'm ready to get back to blogging

holidays have been, not a holiday

i'm doing my internship at Halliburton Oilfield Services :D

it's been a great experience!

i've been put into the Sperry Drilling department

what we do is we service and maintain oil drilling tools

this is the Geo-Pilot
it's a rotary steerable drilling system
that means that it's able to deflect it's drill bit on the spot to drill at an angle to a specified location
if that makes sense. haha.
apparently this is like a brand new technology
when the tool comes in we tear it apart into like 8-10 separate sub-assemblies to service :O
very tedious.
